Gili Air, a paradise island...

We stayed in Sunrise, by the beach in an etage bungalow.

Sunset by the other side of the island.

Chilling out in the afternoon...

Lunch at the beach, this time we will have pineapple and coconut.

These two sunbeds have our names all written over them!

We like...

The diving around Gilli is great!! Big turtles, mantas, sharks and squid among lots of fishes and corals in crystal clear water and white sandy beaches.

No motordriven vechicels on the island means horsecarts have to do the job of moving the scuba tanks around.

 Paradise!!!

 Serve Bintang cold, ice cold!!

Our last day we spent at the bigger island, Gili Trawangan.

Turtle nursery,  here baby turtles are brought up to be realeased in the ocean later.

Back to Kuta for a nice sunset and a romantic dinner.

Leaving Bali for Lombok, taking bus and slow boat to get to Senggigi

Many nice beaches on this vulcanic island.

We had dinner in the sunset at the tables on the beach you see on the picture.

The gardener at our homestay picked local fruit from the trees and gave us for breakfast in the mornings.

Imse vimse spindel...Spiders big as apples, not so plesant...

After the wedding we left Kuta beach and headed north of Bali to Ubud

Our pool, over looking the rice fields at Green field, Ubud.

Hindu offering to keep the evil spirits away.

 Baby bananas outside our bungalow.

A local treat: Suckling pig, so tender the meat falls of the bones! Meeting up for lunch; Nick, Mounique, Glent, Karin, Louise, Fredrik and the Strandsjos.

 Babi guling, thumbs up!!!

Green green green at the rice teracess!

A full day excursion with the Tigerts and Jensens.

Except beautiful rice fields and terraces we were soaked in hot volcanic, sulfur water in hot springs,

...Saw beautiful waterfalls (where we also took a dip:)

Had local food at overlooking the rice fields

And got to see our driver Gustu's favourite waterfall close to his home town (he told us young couples in love goes here on Saturdays ;)

One of the highlights of the trip was when we stopped at a coffee plantation and Mr Tigert bought a cup of expensive coffee (that's made after being pooed out of  a strange looking animal!)

And of course we went to a nice spa in Ubud where we got herbal treatment, massage and bath, lovely!

After almost a week in Ubud we left Bali and went to Lombok, we stay here by the beach for two days and tomorrow we take the boat to Gili Air, a smaller island where diving and snorkeling suppose to be great in the clear water. We will update you with photos from Lombok and Gili when we get to Perth. Have a great weekend everyone!!!
